light problem

light problem

i just recently black out my lights and i notice that my lighting looks different is this sopose to happend??? cuz i been on a CL with the oem black out lights and it doesnt look the same

i took it to Acura dealership service but they didnt seem to fix it.. the problem is that its level right when its in front of a garage door but in the night it mostly lights the front floor i say about a car a half head and from thier everything else is darker wich i dont remember doing that before.

if any of you guys know what might be the problem and know how to fix it please help.

It would be easier to help you if you had a picture of your headlights. Did you paint too much of the housing reducing the reflection?

So you had the headlight adjustment checked at the dealer- is that correct?

OK ,so when in front of the garage level- the main part of the low beam should be about 3 feet off the ground
Was there a reflector plate inside the housing that got disturbed?

i just painted the same way a CL oem black out lights look [IMG]062107_0735 dont really know how to put pics in here

i measured the main part of the low beam on a garage door and its bout 2 feet whent to acura dealer check out a 2000 TL (mine is a 2002)and it measured bout same hight talk to the techs about the lighting should be 3 feet of the ground they said NO WAY To HIGH so im thinking im going to do it myself.

so i back out of the garage door where is measured 2 feet..back out about 4 feet and the low beam was like 1ft or less of the ground.

i did stand on the light when i was on the process of sealing it back maybe that was a mistake

good question not sure cuz i just try to get the Hid in there until the little wire that holds it stayed in place and stiffend the Hid bulb
