LED Taillight Bulb
LED Taillight Bulb
Has anyone got replace the LED taillight bulb with load resistor?
If so, plz lmk how it looks like?
Does it better look or not?
I m thinking to get it.
Plz, advice me.
Thx.

You only put a resistor on a blinker, unless you like fires.
Should look good. Make sure you get high quality, high output leds, otherwise you can't see them at all.
The only problem you might have is them tripping the "brake lamp" indicator on the dash.

Its alot easier to just use an LED flasher. Its pulses are electronically controlledrather then load controlled. This is the easiest method on correcting a rapid-flash issue but as said, well give a "brake lamp" light. The proper way to do an LED conversion is by measuring (or researching) resistances on the said bulb then go to Fry's/Radio Shack and buy a resistor that is capable of handling the heat/amerage/voltage in the application. Dont know the exact name but theyre the white block style resistors you normally see paralleled in an ignition system of an older car.
