Labor Cost For Crank Pulley Install...

I was wondering what others are paying to have their Underdrive crank pulley install and how long? I'll be receiving my pulley set on tuesday and will have it install by end of next week...Thanks.

You used the word ~set~
If that means the 3 pulleys expect 1.5-2.0 hours labor and a 6 pack is always nice!
For just the crank pully- most shops from 60-100 for the labor only
Make sure you have correct new belts to match- Call Josh at Excelerate

$50 bucks at a tuner shop, just the crank pulley. Took them about an hour.

I work at a dealership so I just have a mechanic do after hours stuff. The mechanic I use said he would do all three for about 25 bucks when I get them. Lets put it this way, to replace water pump, timing belt, install springs, install SPC control arms, and do a 4 wheel alignment, it was $350. lol.

I got my pulley set install yesterday and I use Napa Belts (same as Gates Belts). They charge me $100 and did a great job. Paid $25 for both belts. Took about 1 1/2 hrs. Guess I would have to wait a few days to really see the horsepower improvement...but I can already feel the big difference as of right now. Just thought I let the members know...later.

like it's already been beat to death before -- i think it's more of a throttle response you get from putting on a crank pulley rather than horsepower gains....when i first got my crank pulley put on, i could really feel the difference in throttle response...

Your not adding HP with a UR- you are unlocking or freeing up about 8HP already in the engine with the loss of rotatotional mass, decreased AC speed, and faster rev to the power band

No. And no the stock crank pulley does not have a balancer integrated into it. It has an elastomer (a small rubber ring) which is there to supress NVH.
