just ordered my thermoblok spacers, ??
I have been reading some threads and had some questions. 1. could someone hook me up with the best DYI please? 2. will i need my old gaskets and old hardware? 3. what is best way to clean the EGR ports(will pipe cleaners work?)? 4. who hard are the bolts to take off? any help would be appreciated.
The instructions that come with the kit will be plenty good enough.
Read over it a few times to familiarize yourself with the procedure, and you will be fine.
Get a couple of cans of carb cleaner and be very careful with the EGR gasket; make sure you don't bend it or anything. Otherwise you could get a leak and get a code. Get a scraper from the parts store to clean off the gaskets on the throttle body; that will be a pain in the ass without one.
