^ Is that the crankshaft part no: 13310-RK2-A01 and Rods 13210-RK2-A00 ?
That does work too for a J32A2 right? Might sound like a stupid question since IIRC both use the same block.

for the crank. I used 13210-RKG-000 for the rods.

Yes, it works for the J32A2 as well. It is the exact same block

All parts from where? OEM? Bearings dont come with them. You need to match the code on the crank to the bearing color to get the right bearing for the rods. Same goes for the crank and the block. The block has 4 letters ranging A thru F i believe and you match that with the numbers on the crank to pick the right bearing.

?? code for the set?? I dont see that anywhere. Look at the picture again. Then look at the parts list. #7 which is the rod bearings. There are 5 different bearings. They are by color. Look at the crank. There are 2 (9 and 11) different bearings, uppers and lowers. Each with 6 different colors to choose. You NEED to cross reference the stamped code on the block with the code that is stamped on the crank, whats shown are individual, you need 6 of each. Same goes for the rods. You have to take the code stamped on the crank for the bearings for the rods where you need 12 total.

Oh, then once you get them (if they arent damaged from the stupid way they ship them) you need to plastigauge them to see that the clearance is correct

So in any case re-using our current bearings is better?

Thanks for your great insight to the buildup you have. I have a 05 Tl, and looking to do a 3.7 stroke upgrade.
My question is this:

If I were to build my new motor using:

MDX 3.7L crank and rods, pistons
Bore block 1MM over to allow piston usage
Stock 05 Tl 3.2L heads

What type of Compression ratio have you seen using this setup? How high?

Or should I use the 3.7 heads?

Dave
