yes, but with POWER!!

there have been some cases where the vibramount arm ripped off the tube due to excessive vibrations ie bad motor mounts

If u have bad motor mounts than ur engine hase more movement and will rip the praket off from the intake pipe. The bracket is welded on the intake pipe and then bolted onto the chassis and their a rubber insert between the chassis and intake. But the bracket can still rip off.

Pease tell me u were joking.

No, the reverse, bad mounts all the motor to move a lot and where AEM has their mount it tends to snap them off leaving a big hole in your CAI

So my CAI seemed to not fit, i am not sure because the Type S has the secondary intake "stage" or whatever, I think thats the peice before the throttle body. But because of that, I had to shorten the end that connects to the engine or else It would not fit. It would be stopped buy the inner fender, and I also had to roll the metal behind the headlight housing, and also it wont bolt up to where the mount is supposed to. It's the correct part according to AEM.

i think that intake was for the TL-P. since you have the VSA TB there it's making it too long...

Can i cut the pipe at the end of the AEM logo and put the bypass valve there?

This way it shortens it and make it fit properly.

either that or anyone wanna trade for a TL-S one?

You should have returned it and got the correct one from the beginning. Looks like You got the one for the TL-P, not the TL-S

Yeah, it was my bad, but I got it used on eBAY for 120 bucks, so I guess beggars can't be choosers. Teaches me for ebaying at like 1am

Ill just cut it and use a coupler. If smog station throws a fit ill put stock back on.

the piping is smaller in diameter than the type s one. Sell it on the black market for the same price then use that money to buy the correct one

If the piping is smaller how does it fit perfectly?

I believe its the same size but they include a 2.5 clamp incase you use it on the Accord V6, but unless im mistaken, piping is 2.75" on TL P and S

Or is TL-S 3"?

My sister has one on her Focus. Its a stainless steel mesh, but there is a filter behind it. Otherwise it wouldnt be an air filter at all. So yes, of course you have to clean/replace it...

Sorry a bit late on this..but the Injen intake comes with an Amsoil filter that you link.

I just put my Injen intake in this weekend and you can distinctly tell that there is more low/mid end power just by putting that simple add on. I dont even have headers and it feels so much better throttle response wise.

People will argue about filters and dirty filters etc...but in the end these filters are dyno proven for the most part (no ebay fakes).

I went the cheap route and just took off my intake resonator and installed an Amsoil box filter. Just from that I also noticed more throttle response. If you haven't done so already, I recommend installing NGK Iridium plugs and doing the SeaFoam treatment. Both will increase throttle response even more!
