Intake manifold time!

Got a killer deal on a Type-S intake manifold with the IMRC motor and throttle body today, so now I'm getting everything ready to install it.

Outlaw Engineering thermal spacers are already ordered (Type-S), but now I'm wondering what CAI to get....

I like the AEM V2's, but I wonder which one to get, since I don't use the VSA TB, should I get the TL-P or CL-S6 intake?

Your best bet is going to be making a custom intake. When I get my new manifold on i am going to run a 4" intake. There have been some nice gains from going to a larger intake.

I would do that if I had any ambition hahahahaha!

I'm pretty much looking for plug and play, along with something that looks nice

The problem is there is slight differences between each of the cars. The closest one would be the cls6 intake because it doesn't have the vsa throttle body. If I remember correctly there is a slight difference between that intake and the tl but I can' t remember what. It is easy to build a intake companies have kits you can put together in about the time of assembling a regular intake.

I re-used my injen intake i bought for the TL-P since it is same size as TB size. all I needed was a coupler that was same size and not tapered..

but i stretched mine to fit and it worked.
