Injen CAI equals 2nd gear "chirps" all day long...lol

Hey guys, just installed my Injen CAI this past week on my 03 TL Type-S and I must say... coming from the "resonator removed / k&n air filter" sound I couldn't imagine it being much louder than that.... but WOW. The new Injen SCREAMS at full throttle. Not a big fan of the "hissing" sound it makes but man, when my front tires break loose and give a loud chirp EVERY time it hits 2nd gear at wot makes it ALL worth while. Def picked up a few ponies by the "seat of the pants meter" haha. Not sure how much if any worth mentioning but it DEF picked up some.

Pretty easy install once I figured out the "lines" that needed connected. Intake looks great under the hood.

Just wanted to share my experience with it... def a worthwhile upgrade for the TL.

The trailblazer ss i drove was fast as shit but handle like shit too LOL(its a truck). I find that the cherokee srt8 handled better but thats a given really. Just as fast as the cherokee tho. Sweet ride.

Yeah, the Jeep SRT8's are beautiful. I would have gotten one, but just couldn't justify spending the extra 10+ grand, and I wanted 2wd. My SS handles pretty well.. I replaced the rear swaybar with a better one and I run 275/45/20 Tires and have it lowered a little. But yes, it is a 4800lb suv so handeling is limited, but I love it. Im not really into hauling ass around corners, as I am more of a 1/4 mile dragstrip kind of guy...lol... here is a video from my last time to the track in it back in November...

12.79 @103 with a 1.75 60'.. sorry for bad camera work. My brother was filming it.
