Icy blue look

What's up everyone? Just had a quick question, my fiancee does not have HID's on her pathfinder like most of us have on here. I want to replace her headlight bulbs with bulbs that have a brighter tint of blue look but not the extremely dark blue. Can someone please tell me what brand is good besides the obvious like PIAA and what is the name of the color, I've seen Nitro blue, Artic blue, not sure which ones to go with and do not want to waste money on the wrong color. Thanks

Why not just to to ddmtuning.com and pay 40-50 bucks for a 6k or 8k hid kit? Lifetime warranty and great reviews.

BLUE does NOT help you see. Get what ever is closest to pure white.

get 5000K if you're looking for a clean white... but personally I HATE SUV's with HID's in halogen headlight housing, it's like getting high beam'd

Go HID or go home! But I would not suggest anything above 5000k. If you insist on the blue tint, go 6000k max.

Although I do hate the fact that you're suggesting HIDs for reflector housings in an SUV I'd say go with 6k bulbs. It's the best combination of light output and looks (pure white with the right hint of blue)

I agree, I do not want to put HID's because many people do not know this (as you can see on the road) it's not just the kit, you have to have the proper housing which involves more money....So TheMegalodon, 6K, would that be like ultra white or hyper white? Or just look for a 6K bulb set?

Here's a pretty good visual of the color difference:

4300K-5K is pretty pure white while 6000K adds a hint of blue.

Here's another shot comparing 4300k and 6K on an s10:

Thank you, appreciate the post, now can you buy these bulbs without them being HID's, and if so whats a good website because all the car shops around here do not sell these bulds, they just have hyper white, super white and so on...nothing like 6000 or 8000...
