I have taken out the intake resonator..... pretty simple. As fas as the Exhaust resonator, don't quote me on this, but I think you have to cut it off of your exhaust pipes and then weld on a straight pipe. If that's something that your capable of doing, then it shouldn't be to hard.
Now, back to the intake resonator: First off, I don't have any pics. I removed mine when I was changing my brakes.I would remove the drivers side front wheel first, then you have to remove the plastic that is under the from bumper (not sure what that's called by the way, but it covers the bottom where the resonator is at.) Now to remove that plastic you have to undo some fasteners, which are a pain in the ass. If I remember correctly you have to turn the center part and then press up on the surrounding part, which will unlock it. Now, this is pretty tough, but don't let it discourage you from reoving that resonator. Oh yeah I think you will have to remove some of those fasteners in the wheel well too..... just for a little more room to work.
Once that plastic is removed or just hanging off enough so it's not in the way, you have to unbolt the resonator which consists of 2 bolts. I know that sounds easy..... but only one is. If you are under the car you will see the resonator, it's huge, you can't miss it. There will be one obvious bolt and the other is kinda behind the headlight. You wil have to remove that one and then just yank the bitch out.
Sorry, it's kinda fast, but I'm at work. Hope you can figure it out.
