I'm sure the answer to this question is posted somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I just got an 02 TL (not an s) and was wondering if anyone knew what the 0-60 time of an auto tran 02 TL is?

 

type S : 6.2s 0-60. ~ 14.7-14.9 1/4 mi. top: 147mph electronically limited.
-p (non -S u newb) ~ 6.9 0-60. ~ 15.3-15.5 1/4mi top: no governor.

not such thing as a TL w/ manual tranny...atleast not from acura!

the 0-60 for a NON TYPE-S is 6.7

no tl manual for 99-03.. check the forum someone do the conversion now.. just cls 03 and tl 04+ are manual..

 

Im Not Sure About The Tl-s 1/4 Mile Times Anymore- Because The Best Is Could Run In Four Passes, Was A 15.6...............? I Dont Understand What The Problem Is, And Why I Cant Even Pull Of A 15 Flat? Any Sugestions

 

I think that Kris (fsttyms1) told me that the last time he tracked his 2000 TL-P (stock) at 175,000 miles it ran a 15.01 1/4 mile.

 

Oh By The Way I Have A 02-tl-s, If A 2000 Tl-p Can Run A 15.1, Then Something Is Defenatly Wrong With Mine

 

Weather track and driver are all VERY important factors. My best run was with near perfect temp and humidity on a cool night. need to learn to gateshift and launch with just the right amount of wheel spin

 

It wasn't 15.1 it was 15.01 - essentially 15-flat. All cars are different, as are driver skills, current conditions, etc.

Kris do you remember what your MPH was for that 15.01 run?

 

nope that was over a year and a half ago. i cant find any of the slips for reaction time or anything. All i remember was getting my ass handed to me by a friend in a maxima

 

Might be the driver, not the car. I was able to pull a 13.9? @101 at the track however i was running i/h/e/p and nitrous at the time. I wonder what I can pull off now
