First of all.....

It's an ACURA! Not a HONDA!

I know its made by honda, but why would you want to do that to your Acura?

Not that I really care too much about what other people think of my/our cars... but everyone already thinks TL's are just Acura badged crummy Accords. It gets aggravating. I just wouldn't put a Honda badge on that further fuel that misconception. It just seems silly to go "JDM" badges but have nothing else JDM on the car. (Rookie driver and those gay ropes in the rear-view mirror don't count...)

I have the same problem with my 06 Acura CSX (Canadian) - It gets called a Civic ALL of the time.. Pisses me right off...

It's not a bloody accord and its not a bloody Civic.. If I wanted a Honda, I would have bought one... I wanted da good stuff.... hehe

First of all i dont understand why people get so angry about JDM, why do people change the Acura Badges for Hondas?, First of all to set this clear, If you are into street racing and modding you car in the fullest and most simpliest way JDM is the SHIT in todays society, if you believe in putting LEDS all over your car then oviously your a rice bucket.

Usually in most cases if your not down with JDM your an outkast and just cant be down which is your problem not anyones else. Doing conversions such as swapping badges and front clips has all to do with modding YOUR CAR. I dont know if you any of you have ever seen a BENZ with i think the signs are called BRABUS, or some crapp like that, but they also do that too, same with BMWs especially the special editions S7 shits. IT looks different and EXCLUSIVE.

And i could bet a 2nd GEN TL with Honda Signs would look better than any TL the regular Acura Sign, dont get me wrong i love Acura, but nowadays its a JDM thing. You can put 2 2nd gen TLs side by side in a car show, one with JDM honda badges slammed on some sick offsets, and another TL with regular Acura badges slammed with some sick offsets. Guess what the one with Honda Signs will stand out much more and attract everyones attention because see that is JDM. That other Acura with Regular badges better have a bigg Fridge(intercooler) infront if he wants any attention, because a JDM styled/modded car will always be number one wether yall like it or not....

One of the best 02-03 TLs on this site, i think the dude got banned at one point, was WHITE, with Air suspension, some breath taking rims and offsets, with Honda Badges, you guys need to open your eyes aND SEE JDM is the way to go, Im pretty sure you guys have heard of Junction, they throw Toyota badges on all the LExus's to stunt extra hard JDM.......in life their are flames and lames......JDM is the flame/fire, Lames is the ones that are out......

WE also love JDM because we dont get as much accessories as they do on their cars. And for us to have a RARE part from another country is great knowing the fact that anyone else wouldnt have it, except some would but only the JDM ones will. Our JDM style over here is a HIT in some places in JAPAN. They like what we do and got, we love what they do and got.....its JDM in the US. and USDM in Japan. Your the shit over their if you got a Left hand driven car, and your the shit over here if you got a Right hand driven car......

Yes its an Acura with Higher class and what not, but Just because we change the badges doesnt mean it looses the class. To me it gains because to see a modded car with different badges is always a great thing, like seeing a NISMO Skyline version of the US 350z, that shit is crazy. Im pretty sure one dude who ever that maybe who turns his TL into a right hand driven car or who ever imports one, will be at the topp of the line. But then again i heard they only come with the 4 speed tranny crap....the lower version of the TL which is the saber is only a 2.4 or 2.5 that shit is crazy......

I understand that Acura is made by Honda.

Go for it, rice it up all you want. All I am saying is that "I" prefer the A over the H!!!

I paid the extra cash for the quality and the name of Acura, I would NOT rebadge.

I have owned ford and GM's in the past and de-badged them, but I will not do that to this.

This is MY opinion, if you agree fine, if not, I have nothing against you.

Its kool bro no problem at all, i didnt mean to lash out, but i tend to do that, and didnt mean anything. But i fully agree with you on the extra cash and quality, i think of that everyday, but hey that "A" still steers at me from my steering wheel. I was thinking wether i should pay the $500-$600 to get the JDM steering wheel, the JDM one with the "H" for our cars lol.
