Wondering if anyone is using or have used a CAI from a Honda Accord V6 on there 99 tl-p. Ive bought a AEM for a really good price. If it dosnt fit i will probably just sell it to one of my buddys.

I would like to know if anyone has any experience on moding it to fit our tl. This is confusing me

Have You tried to install it already? Doesn't seem like a hard mod unless something is way wayyyy off.

I have not yet received the CAI yet. The seller told me everything lines up except the mounting bracket which sounds like the most important thing to hold the CAI nice and snugg. He said he had it held up with 3M tape?

I was just asking to see if anyone has ever used a CAI from a accord to see how they executed it.

Why bother...... just get the right part that fits, don't jimmy rig things.

I think the price of the AEM CAI got me lol I mean its possible to fit the TL but im just not trying to use tape. When it gets here im going to try to see what im working with. Id rather sell then go the tape method. WELD a longer bracket?? Just trying to think outside the box here
