It's weather stripping for the bottom of garage doors. It comes one length in a bag. If you search home depot lip some older threads shows the packaging. Rolled up foam strip in a clear plastic bag with writing on it.

nobody said that b/c a handful of people like to shop for their "mods" at home depot and pep boys, its gonna make the car look bad world-wide.
they are simply saying these cars still hold some class. when you start screwing rubber lips to it and rattle-canning wheels and fart cans... things just go downhill from there.
if you want to drive a "nice" car. you should therefor treat it "nice" save some money for the lip that was made for the car.
if you want a car with garage door molding.. buy a civic hatch and you'll be the coolest kid on the block.
ps. not trying to offend anyone. this is just how i feel about the TL.

+1. thats why i didnt screw my HD lip in, i just taped it. thats why i also used matte-black Plasti-dip (also from Home Depot) on my wheels and grill so if i didnt like it, i could just peel it off. its good if you wanna see how something looks before you permanently change it.

just in case anyone was wondering...
im getting bored of the black wheels. im gonna peel the paint off this weekend. and i only painted the grill black as well because the chrome was faded and gross looking.

use 3M automotive double-sided tape if you want it to last. take your time with it if you want it to look decent (although most people here will probly say itll never look decent because its a piece of shit haha).

its not worth it.
mine is somewhere on the side of I-95 in Maryland right now. it was really embarrassing when i was on a road trip to DC with a few girls and the HD lip came off and was flapping in the wind. i had to pull over and rip the rest off. it lasted about 5 months.
i know in my previous posts in this thread i was so pro HD lip but as i spent more and more time on Azine i realized that you should do it right or not at all. save up for an OEM lip. and thats exactly what i did. im just waiting for one to pop up on the black market now.

Lip kits
This "HD" low budget lip mod is just that and no more !
If ya want the real McCoy, ya gotta get the OEM lip kit for the 2nd Gen TL's ('99>'03). Nothing else comes close in overall quality fit and appearance. They are difficult to find, but do pop up occasionally......and well worth the money and effort, IMO. Hope ya find one, you'll be happy with it !
