HID light questions...

Alright, i currently have the OEM headlights, and some pretty basic h11 foglights, which are not HID.
I want to upgrade both to HID and I have some questions.
1. I want 8000k, will that cause any problems?
2. Will matching them look stupid? or should i mix them for a different range of light?
3. WHat do i need? do i need a new balast for each light?
4. Is instalation pretty much just plug in and use? or does it require fitting it?
5. what size is the TL's bulb?

u need a whole new or used hid kit for your fogs, i believe that the bulb is an 9006. 4300k is stock, 8000k would be blue, the higher in K u go the more blue its going to output. i have 6500k in my headlights and it gives out some blue but i see better in night with the 6500 then the 4300

alright..
also, how can i tell if the lights burned out, or something else happened?
everything worked before, and now the fogs won't turn on.
the button lights up, so i think power is going to it, but both lights went out at the same time in not a lot of time.. a couple months

check your wires for any shorts, since its a custom job, then replace them and see what happens. but if everything is straight with your wires than replace them and see what happens.

Alright, just so i (think) have everything right.
I plan to buy an HID kit, which means i need new ballasts and everything?, and the bulb size needs to be 9006, and I plan on going with a output of around 7000-8000k, which may look a little blue, but I am ok with that.
For the fog light i will check for shorts as soon as I can, but afterwards I will need another set of ballasts and lights to get HID in there as well??

Sorry if I am coming off as dumb, but I can't afford to be throwing my money into the wrong parts, and I really want to get this right the first time

your stock headlights already have hid for the driving lights, all u need is a bulb and for that contact excelarate (d2s i think the bulb is),
since u have the civic fogs u need a h11 bulbs and teh kits, (bulbs, ignitor, ballast)

ddmtuning(dot)com.
$29 bucks for the whole HID kit with lifetime warranty can't be beat.
I changed my lowbeams to 6K and installed the bumper fogs and HID's to match.

Can't go wrong for that price.
put them in my gf's car too...
