Red face Header/Exhaust question

Ive been lookn around for some headers and an exhaust, however i keep running into the same problem, i found a pair of header put they came off a 02 Type S and i have a 99 TLP, will they still fit? I dont see how there can be a difference between the exhaust for 02 type s and a 99 tlp, correct me if im wrong, give me some info to help me out, thanks.,,

any headers will fit the 2nd gen TL, so yes they will fit. The exhaust is slightly different between the type s and regular (tlp)

most likely comptech or nexel will fit 2nd gen tls. as long as it's a 3.2 v6 you should be all good. nexel you can get off of www.wheelsnext.com for cheaper tan comptech.

Headers are pretty much universal among the J-series engines. The ones you're looking at off the '02 Type-S will fit yours just fine. Go for it.

im considering puttin the ones off my cl onto my tl-s. is it a pretty noticable gain? i mean i could tell when i put them on the cl but that was from a reletavley low hp motor. these are a totally different ball game. i might just do it just to see wadup...

I noticed a nice difference with my regular TL - a TLS responds very well to bolt on mods

If ita a cat back, it wont fit unless you get a CAT from a type-s or have a exhaust shop custom fit it.

Maybe i severely lack some internet searching skills, but the only exhaust i can find for a 99tlp, isnt even a cat-back, is the comptech, someone let me know of a place where i can get a cat-back exhaust for my car, preferbly apexi ws2
