Okay V2 it is! Now one more question, I heard that if you get a CAI you must get an exhaust or the sound resonance will be too much to handle. Is this true? If so a full exhaust or will a muffler do the trick? Also where can I find a cheap V2?

no such thing. not sure where you heard that from, but that's pretty hilarious. just for the record, a CAI is hardly noticed until you hit vtec or wot. under "normal" driving conditions, i would say you can't even notice a difference.

you can get an exhaust if you want, but that's just another added benefit. you do not need it for the intake. they are 2 different things.

check the BM for a used V2. once in a while someone will sells theirs.

If I can find a V2 for a good price I was thinking of buying one. The Fujita is only 160 shipped I believe.

if you have the tl-s, you won't be able to use the V2. AEM never released it for our cars. i wish they did b/c i'd have it right now. people have customed their throttle body to fit the V2, but it doesn't make any sense to me; the tl-s has a bigger throttle body than the tl-p.

Get an Injen RD series or comptech icebox for the type s. The icebox is real quiet if noise is an issue, but really an intake isn't noisy to begin with.
