Fog Mod Problem!!

Ok so this morning i decided to install my old 8000k HID PnP kit for my fog lights. After I have taken off my front bumper and installed them I noticed that only my passenger side fog light would turn on, but my left side didn't. At first i thought that there was something wrong with one of my HID systems, but it wasn't. I think that my left side fog light just isn't able to draw enough power to light up the damn thing, because it can sure as hell light up the oem halogen. Does anyone think they know what the problem is?

You might need a new balast kit.

try switching the wires on the drivers side it is noted in the fog light DIY on acurainsipired says that it might be needed to switch those.

Important, the driver side power connector - the polarity has to be switched (has to be done for D2R and 9006 HID so that the ballast would light up. There are two wires, Black and Orange, you have to switch them, I could not open the plastic connector so I cut the wires above the connector and swapped them and tied them with electrical tape, (if you can't do that, then you shouldn't do the mod tongue.gif)
i didn't have to do this with my 9006 kit but it probably varies kit to kit
