First upgrades?

My 02' TL is bone stock 150k miles
What are the best/cheapest/best bang for the buck upgrades?
I got outcornered the otherday by a G35! in a hard heavy cutback! Also She does not feel like she pulls the 110-140 as fast as she used to... And what are these upgrades going to tear up in 25k miles?

Tks in advance for any and all help!

our cars have very little power from 110-140, 4th gear is not meant for that.

For cornering, sway bars, new springs and shocks, cusco braces, wider rims/tires will help. If you want more power, intake, headers, pulleys are the major bang for the buck mods.

Welcome to the forum.

Id suggest you take some time searching the forum under some of the topics you asked about. There is alot of info out there.

In short, yes, intake, headers and pulleys make good gains. cams are really a no go.

The cheap easy mods are the lightweight crank pulley ~$250 installed-Excellerate sells
The OutlawEngineering.com- thermoblock intake spacer is good for $100- direct sales
The Cusco upper and lower frame bars really tighten the car up and improve handling.
A solid place to build the suspension upgrades on. see MrHeelToe
Race-Track day $250 driving schools, will teach you how to out-brake and out-corner most other drivers on the road. see your local race track or scca.org
