Well if you read enough info to ask these questions your answers should have been answered in those threads.

Some remove both, some remove just the larger one (often referred to as the mid muffler).

You replace them with a piece of exhaust pipe.

if you have aftermarket mufflers many like to get rid of the oem mid muffler and resonator and replace it with a aftermarket resonator of 18" to 22" in size

OEM mufflers no resonator is a nice sound. So is leaving the resonators alone and getting a set of axleback mufflers like comptech, or doing a complete custom exhaust cat back with magnaflo mufflers and magnaflow resonator

WOW, he posted some very general/basic/easy reading right there for you. If you don't understand what parts are on your car then you shouldn't modify it until you read/learn about it. That's what this great site is for.

There is a resonator, a mid mufler, and the DUEL mufflers that you see at the end.

Most delete the mid muffler whether they have the stock mufflers, or aftermarket mufflers. Some also delete the RESONATOR and replace it with an 18-22inch muffler along with that.

OR they get an entire cat-back exhaust system.

I was referring to the forum search. some made sense and some did't. I'm not a master mechanic, that's the reason why I've join ACURAZINE, so I can learn about these things. There's so many overwelming things for a newbie like me. but I will eventually learn. but anyway
fsttyms1 general/basic/easy reading post cleared it up for me. And THANK YOU 4 your input chrisQ1980,and as for fsttyms1 he knows his stuff. THANKS again guys.

Yes, adding aftermarket mufflers now will add alot of unwanted drone. Unfortunately there isnt a way around this having a louder exhaust without it. Your best bet now is to run magnaflow mufflers and add a 18-22" resonator.
