Engine cover painted

Wanted to paint my engine covers. Wasn't sure if i should go red or blue. Went red, and don't regret it. looks good!

heres some pics:
off goes the main cover.

secondary cover

took off battery cover

2 coats of primer


2 coats of color choice paint



1.5 hrs after drying, 2 coats of clearcoat...then dry once more & them back on...



tell me what u think...

Not bad. Personally i would have painted the battery cover and the intake box the same color.

i was going to paint the intake box also, but i plan to buy a red AEM cold air intake off this one guy soon

Looks good, def agree with the rest of the guys paint the batt the same red, it will complete the look

Base primer, and Metalcast red metallic paint, all made by Dupli-color.

Nice job it look good... I got mine painted camelion it changes from blue to purple n like a greenish

its a bad pic u cant see it change colors because the sun wasn't
