Question Emblem RE-badging

So I know there's a DIY on how to debadge your emblems. But I actually want to paint my Acura emblems gloss black and put it back on. How do I put it back on and what adhesive do i have to use? Any suggestions would be extremely helpful!

I think 3M makes something for this. Try tcpglobal.com and they should have something

I had my rear badges black for a couple months not too long ago.

Buy some industrial strength double sided tape. Make sure you remove all what is left over on the trunk and letters of the previous adhesive. Once the trunk and emblems are cleaned paint them black. Do a couple layers so it wont chip off as easy. I used plasti-dip for mine because I knew i was going to want to take the black off later. Plasti-dip comes out looking flat black, but it can be removed by just peeling it off. Before you take off the "A C U R A" put a strip of tape at each end and one running along the bottom of all the letters, so you know EXACTLY where to put them back. Put the double sided tape on the back of all the letters and emblems and place them on.

Good luck!

3M also makes a liquid emblem adhesive that works awesome.

Like i said tcpglobal.com but locally you can get 3m at auto part stores and hardware stores. Not sure how much of a selection they will have though. It should be with the other glues and adhesives.
