EGR difference

Ok, for the longest time I was getting the p0401 code, so I decided to take off my intake manifold and inspect the EGR port. I could not believe it, it was completely gunked closed. So I cleaned it completely out. When I put everything back together again I could not believe the H.P that I gained back.I dont care what anyone says, but I know my car in every little detail on how it performs. It ran exactly like it does at night (60-69 temp.). At night when the temperature drops in the 60's my car will spin the tires from a dead stop all the way through 1st gear with no hesitation. During the day when the temp. is in the 80's I can only spin them up to 3500 at best (these runs are all done on the same road so I know theres no traction difference). Now that I cleaned out the EGR port its hot here about high 80's. My car runs exactly like it does in colder weather. Its spinning all the way through 1st gear everytime. So now I want to see how it runs tonight. It made my car more responsive, I guess my next thing I do is get the thermospacers. My mod are I/H/E 1999 TL-p

You know when a Check Engine Light is on, just because it "SEEMS" like the car is running right its probably not. That light isnt just to make the gauges look pretty.

A Helicopter tour pilot in Hawaii told me he makes $50,000 a minute!

Most of the time he is just out having fun flying and showing off his island,
but about once a year, ALL the red and yellow lights on the instrument panel go on...

and for the next 60 seconds--------

he is the hardest working man you ever met- and earns every penny of a years pay in that 1 minute

You guys are all wrong. It's when this light turns out that you know you are in trouble.
