i dynoed my 02 TL-S and put down 220.99hp and 188.99tq first time and 225.68hp and 189.23tq the second time. all i had done to the car was k&n drop in filter, intake and exhaust resonators removed, dc sprots headers, intake manifold and throttle body spacers.
thursday hopefully ill dyno my car with the 100 shot (dry). let me know what u guys are putting down.

Those #s could have been a little higher. Weather may be the reason you put down those. What type of dyno was it? look into a NEO or E-Manage and tune it. I bet you will get more

i dynoed my car with a 100shot (dry) and put out 257.28hp and 260.65tq the first run and the second run i did 291.37hp and 261.90tq. but my air/fuel ratio was about 14.9:1-15.1:1 really lean. need to tune in some day. does anyone know of a shop that will dyno and tune my car. will post pics of the dyno sheets soon.

could get over 300hp easily with a tune but might need some bigger injectors

You dont need larger injectors, you need a tune.

ok so im assuming there are tuning management systems for our cars? how do i get one of these? are they expensive? would a shop already have one? what would be the app cost for a tune? i know 20 questions but i wanna learn.
i have installed: injen cai, pr2 throttle body & gaskets, intake manifold spacer, to be installed (just bought) dc headers, UR crank pulley, and greddy evo 2. should i get a tune after all is done? do you think the pleniums by excelerate are worth the $600?? basically all that does is gives more breathing room for the engine right? bec they are bigger?

sorry rajaca if i jacked your thread.

In short yes it will help. I listed in the post you quoted the units i recommended. Neo or E-Manage. There are harnesses made by Bomslang that make them PnP. Find a shop that can dyno tune them. Price, shop around. E-bay, other forums black markets etc... Dyno tunes all vary. Expect a few hundred for a good tune

Those are some nice numbers! Does removing the intake resonator help? I just got my TL day before yesterday, so i'll be playing with it later today..

Yep= pull the bumper cover off- undo the 10mm bolt and yank the lower res out, plus its small plastic piece- you'll see it!
Free CAI effect~
My 01 has fake foglight holes so I opened the driver side up.
The friendly tech at the dealer says the cubic feet of air in the area with resonator removed is one of the best free things you can do. The engine will pull all the air it wants from that larger unrestricted area.

ProFunction Automotive in Burr Ridge would be a great bet.
www.Profunctionauto.com. I hear that one of the technicians owns an 02 TL that he is currently modifying.

This is obviously not good. Is it because of the NOS system? Because I'm thinking, and even with pulleys, CAI, e-manage, exhaust, and headers, the transmission in our cars (post-recall) should be able to stand up to that.

Just wondering...
