Trust me I searched. I have a resonance problem right now, not leak. I was just wondering if anyone's done something to the pipe to make it stop resonating or resonate at a different frequency such that I can't hear it.

There are many things to try to fix the resonance, in the end you may not be able to get rid of it completely, I haven't. Remove heat shield on cat or over any piping to rule that out. Loosen up all nuts/bolts for headers and downpipe, let it sit where it wants and then tighten back up. Unhook the hanger that the downpipe hangs from, see if that helps. There is no one solution but these are something to try and see which one works for you.
Thanks. I'll try all those. If they don't work, I'll try to clamp a metal bar to the pipe. Hopefully, that'll make it more rigid and less likely to vibrate.

DC HEADERS...how they holding?

fsttyms1, can you post any pics of the 3/4 bolt flange you were going to work on? or...did you already install?

for those of you that have installed the dc sports headers a few months back...i understand there were some nagging 'fit' problems and dc sports recommended 'cheap' gaskets. i'm curious as to know how every body's situation is now because i'm looking into getting a set.

if major problems arise, i might just break my life savings and get comptechs seeing as they have been best fit so far. i couldn't stand to have headers that don't fit. besides, a great header should fit flush, 100%.

I've had my DC Headers on for about a month. I had no fit problems, just problems with the lousy gaskets, just like everyone else. Replace those and you have a great header. Ceramic coating has held up nicely too!

Since I got them used, the original gaskets were gone anyways. I went to Advance Auto Parts and got some O-ring crush gaskets. Those worked great. I even had the front right bolt come loose and it didn't leak.
