well i guess if i had thought for a few more seconds i would have remembered the 24+ pages ive read on the 6 speed swap but still about the VSA would it still work because i remember seeing somthing about a "yaw" sensor and is there a steering angle sensor?

Wouldnt work unless you converted all that over. Which to me VSA is a waste of money

The TCS in the TL is the biggest joke of a system ive ever seen. And from whit ive read, no. No Offense but maybe id learn how to drive a little better than possibly having a system to save you

I will give you the TCS, but the times that its had to save me were around corners...to me it just seems like the car can do more than its capable of (the Volvo), maybe making me over confident. and i dont drive it very often, and i know how far i can push my TL. but none the less it is fun to see the car turn corners without braking

the vsa wont allow you to go faster around corners. and to me isnt worth the money trying to add it just to save ones self doing something stupid.

For the money you would have to spend to put S parts in a regular TL, you might as well trade your car for an S model

everyone says this....but not everyone wants to trade in the current car or might not be able to trade it in for whatever reason.

Trade your ES for a TL-S?

Kidding. The biggest hurt on the 99 TL is the 4AT with taller gears that slow it down.

Just my personal experience...a couple of my freinds have owned 9-3's and 9-5's..they were a total disaster! That's why a $40K+ car that is only 2-3 years old can be found for $10K-$14K. My friends had so many problems with their cars. If you do some research you will find that SAAB's have had a history of issues. Save yourself from buying a headache...Do some research before you buy a SAAB. Just my

Agreed. My uncle loved Saabs to death until recently which he hates now and would never buy one again. Good suggestion Providence Leaf.

Subaru Legacy - 2.5 GT Limited Sedan

Should be able to get a fully loaded auto for under $35K.

I second the legacy GT loaded up. Very nice car for the money and very powerful tons of modding potential too or maybe an STi or new EVO. personally if you want reliability stick with subura as mitsu is going down the toilet. another suggestion would be a 3G TL a-spec or altima se-r. you have so many choices to choose from. maybe you should list the in order of importance what your new car would be (i.e. 1. performance 2. reliability 3. stlying 4. gas mileage 5. warranty 6. safety 7. features).
