Okay, once more for the cheap seats, the 2G and the 2004-2006 3G TLs all have the exact same transmission mount (as do many other V6 transmissions from the early to mid 2000s), hence the fact the J35A3 bolts directly into a 2G TL; like it or don't. I haven't contradicted myself anywhere in this thread, maybe you have a reading comprehension problem. Regarding the J35A6, the transmission mount is the same as all TLs through 2006, however, this engine is not plug compatible with the 2G TL. Why? Because the heads are totally different. Then there is the J35A8, it has both the newer transmission mount AND the newer heads; this engine will not bolt directly into any TL built before 2007.

@Aptimmy, thank you for proving my point. FWIW, I'm not holding my breath for your groveling apology; clearly you are too self-important to debase yourself in that way.

What was the vehicle you were swapping engines and trannys with? I have a 2001 Acura MDX 3.5 liter and want to know if the 06-07 Honda Accord tranny will swap with it

The OP on the thread below had an 06-07 Accord V6 transmission attached to a J35A3 swapped engine:

The attachment below outlines what is needed.
