Comptech B-Pipe

May seem like a silly question, but is there any advantage of getting this part besides just having a bigger pipe?

i dont think it would be worth getting unless you put some kind of induction on your car like big mike said. That piece is quite expensive, might as well just save it and put it to some good use.

The other thing is that doing the B-Pipe can eliminate the droning sometimes accompanied with the axlebacks or at least that is what I have read.

You mean saving toward that $600 for an used body kit, which put more weight on the car than anything else?

The advantage of the Comptech B-Pipe is SS construction and it has a different resonator. The different resonator provides a different/deeper/more mellow sound than just having the Comptech axlebacks and the stock catback piping and resonator. The inscreased pipe diameter would come in most handy for gus with the supercharger, otherwise it is mostly a waste. I would personally just buy a 22inch Magnaflow resonator and have almost the same sound as the Comptech B-Pipe for a fraction of the cost. I would never buy Comptech B-pipe even if I had forced induction. you are esentially paying for the name and shiny piping. You can always get a reputable muffler shop to install 2.5in catback piping for you with or without an aftermarket resonator.
