Comptech axleback with custom piping?

I was wondering if anyone got custom B pipe an Y pipe custom made for there axleback an kept same bolt pattern?

Did you feel any major different?

I'm thinking of doing 2.5" from the cat back to the exhaust bolt on point. Here the deal the exhaust shop said to get better gain with 2.5" I going have cut part of Comptech exhaust, so they can weld 2.5" pipe into it. Comptech axleback are only has 2" openning.

Should I cut axleback or just forget it.

Yes, many do. This is what i did to mine

Just in the mockup stage. It all needs to be finished welded, its only tack welded here

What it looks like on the car. I got the comptechs to sit a little further out and alot more even than with the factory pipe.

He has an account on YouTube with the same name. I've seen his video labelled "loud pipes" or something like that. Yea, it's pretty loud.

not really. There is the video of my lapping day inside the car and one being chased by the camera car where you can kind of hear it. Never made one with the camera out side. Never liked those vids because they really dont show/capture the sound well just sitting there reving it.

Wow your car handles great for a TL-P. Not body roll or anything. Whatever you did well done. If you didnt do much it just shows how well Honda/Acura can make FWD cars.

They actually handle well to begin with, but i put Koni shocks, H&R sport springs, and Eibach sways for suspension. (im trying to find polyurethane bushings for the suspension.

When the new motor goes in im going to run a true dual. Im going to make a new lower header pipe that doesnt merge into 1 and get rid of the in one out 2 muffler and get a X pipe (to help equalize the 2 banks). There is enough room for it. I just need to get 2 magnaflow 18 to 22" round mufflers to help combat the drone for that setup.

Zomg, that sounds cool! What are you gonna do about Cat and O2 sensor? Just ignore it, and rock a CEL?

Or do something creative at the X-pipe?

Im not running a cat now Though i dont like the smell of the exhaust without it. Spark plug defouler eliminates the the 02 light.

Im sure there will be gains. Especially considering the motor will be a 3.6. The more air we can get out of this motor the more can go in. Ill be running a 75-80mm throttle body from a mustang, i will get more than enough air in.

yes, pretty much same. But im not running stock suspension any more.

3.6 ... nice... i always though you lose when too much come out..because i feel less power when the flex pipe has a hole... ive replaced 3 in my lifetime and felt it better after fixing it.. is it mental?... so open pipe is best?... horrible sound tho ..
