Comptech Axle Back

I just received my comptech axle backs and installed them. They sound great ! but I found it just to be a little to quiet. So I went to a custom exhaust shop and asked them to make it a little bit louder. This is what they did. From the Cat to the resonator, the piping they put is 2 1/4 inch. A smaller resonator (probably like 12 inches in length and 3 inches around). The sound after they did that was great. But I think a little too loud for my liking. Now the question I have is, How do I tone it down a bit ? Do I go to a bigger resonator or what ? does anyone know the size of the stock resontaor ? Any help would be appreciated

you can either put a 18 - 20 something inch resonator in there, or buy the quiet tips,

either way is gonna cost about the same.

or you can get the comptech B pipe.

Thanks a lot Guys .. I think I will just go with a bigger resonator. I don't really want to buy the quiet tips since I have read about how people lose them and all.

The quiet tips are great. I love them because it allows me to constantly change the sound. In about the 5 years ive owned them i have never lost 1!!!!! Every time you take them out, then put them in USE NEW screws and you will never loos them!
