Cold Air intake questions...
So i have a 2002 TL-S. I have a short ram for it but i was wondering what the small hoses did that seem to run from the heads or top of the engine to the intake on both sides? I noticed thet are both hot all the time but the front one is metal like a rail where as the rear is just rubber. But it went right in to the intake near the engine. I was going to cut it down to size and slip a rubber hose in it's pace. Are those EGR or coolant? If they are coolant why the heck would you pump coolant right in to the intake right before the throtle body? What is best practice here?

The hose from the crank to the intake is a breather. I believe the metal one is for coolant. I deleted those things from my car a while back. Depending on your location, you can do the coolant bypass mod. Coolant lines run into the throttle bodies so they don't get stuck frozen in cold climates. You can either get an oil catch can or a filter for the crankcase.
Google will be your friend if you didn't understand what I just said lol.
