I had the AEM in my TL-S and the fit is a little tight but does work, notice I said HAD the AEM, I switched from the AEM to the Injen and if you ask me the AEM is too low into the front bumper. The Injen on the other hand is a much better fit and doesn't come anywhere close to the fogs

Comptech's Icebox is a good intake, but if you want a loud intake, it's not for you. It's just barely louder than stock. The HP gains from the CT IB are said to be the highest.

I'm running the Injen intake on my 02 tl-s (the same as 03 minus OnStar).
The only other intake I would want is the AEM V2, but it doesnt fit the type S.

I would ONLY recommend either INJEN or Comptech Sport.

For more stock looking and not too loud -----> Comptech
For louder sound and more aftermarket looking engine bay ------> INJEN
