Cluster question.

Just bought the cluster out of a TL-S to put into my TL-P and before it comes I have a few questions. I'd like to know which would be easier: swapping my mileage computer onto the TL-S cluster or swapping the gauge faces and needles over to my current cluster. I'd like to swap LEDs into it and maybe add a few more like shown in the thread on here. Thanks for your help!

Remember when you put them in the redline will be different if you use sport shift. It would be easier if you swapped the mileage portion over but if your swapping it out for led's than it might be easier to do it the other way. Ask fsttyms1 I know he swapped gauges and converted it to led

Redline will be different until the day I get an S type engine but hopefully then I'll have to switch the cluster again to the one from CL-S6

Even if you don't swap to a manual get another engine they are so cheap. But get an mdx or Honda pilot 3.5l motor. Soon I'm going to have to start searching for a cluster and ecu but imtrying to find the right motor

why bother with the mileage at all? Leave it as it is.

Only get the 01-02 mdx J35A3. Its the best of them. Its the exact same block as the J32A2 which has the best cyl lining.

Guess I'm just anal for wanting to keep my odometer the same, dunno. Plus emissions takes record of that. Not sure what the tally on the cluster coming is but I think I'll just rape it for needles and gauge faces so that I can keep my low mileage one.

I'll decide once its time. If I have too many other projects going on ill probably swap them out and say F it. But if I have time I'd like to keep my odo. I'm swamped right now. Winter is killing my concrete just saw a ton of pitting so I'll be crawling around filling that crap in come decent dry weather. Plus basement renovations. Ugh being a homeowner is killing me I think I'll just move in w my parents again!

Just swapped the gauges complete. Disassembled both clusters carefully. Pulled needle/gauge assemblies off the green board then reassembled both clusters. Now I got a backup or one for sale.
