cleaning the dash finish

doesnt anyone know anything that can clean the dash finish where it aint old looking? i use to use just a hot wet rag and scrubbed it and that was the best i can get it to look. other stuff just seems to make it look all dingy

does anyone have any interior cleaning tips??

also for some odd reason my dimmer switch does not work for my gauge cluster light but its light up pretty well so i havent really cared.

Be careful with what you use. Do NOT use any household cleaners. ONLY consider products made for cars.

I used a general purpose wipe, and the (p)leather dash soaked it up and swelled.

Acura sells a kit for all that stuff, but its overpriced obviously. I would stick with your favorite major brand cleaners (armor all, turtle wax stuff, etc.)

303 Aerospace Protectant will take care of most of your interior. Its great! Use 303 and microfiber towels. You can get a big pack of the towels for cheap at Home Depot or computer stores like Fry's.

Cool ok is it safe? I, know some stuff is kinda toxic like the stuff those guys sell to clean stuff, standing in front of gas stations. That stufd works good on headlights n body n wheels

Safe? I wouldn't drink it, but its definitely not very toxic. They have an MSDS sheet you may want to look at:
