Changing guages...

I have a 2002 TL-S, I *LOVE* the white guages.. but I would like to have them with blue lighting.. Do they make after-market cluster kits? Or Blue bulbs or anything? If you dont know what im talking about.. imagine the white's of the #'s on the sped and tachometer.. shining like a neon blue.. im going for something like that.. let me know if you guys dont know what im talking about or if you know where I can get something like this.. if you know of anyone who has done this, let me know as well. Do you think Honda accessories would work? Thanks alot guys!

Ryan

This is kind of what I want to do:

Led is the only thing you can do on a type-s. No one makes a indaglo gauge for the type-s

Never get those ugly reverse guages. stay with the white ones. I have the blue lights in the back and i am thinking about getting the white TL-S guages for my car. Will the White TL-S guages fit my TL-P car?

i have the reverse ones...they look awesome and i get alot of compliments from ppl on the look. Only real problem i think is the redline is more like a redish/violet line, not really bright red like it should be, but otherwise there nice.

if u really like the look of the current gauges, just change the leds with the kit from the website.

the led kit, from the pics doesn't look like its even light. leds have hot spots personally just leave it be. if you only change a few components and not every thing it will look off...

good luck none the less...

search the pics and you can see what people have done

I don't think that 01 Acura TL had the Type S option. Unless it's from a different country or something? Either way, you would have to figure out the D5 to D4 since there's one less gear.

Oh yea, that's right. Still, I'm pretty sure the US version of the TL didn't have a type s option for 01. Also, the conversion of a Type S cluster is really intensive. There's a DIY for it floating around somewhere.

yes, type-S was '02-'03 only

99-01's shared the pre-face lift front ends.. its easy to tell them apart.
