Car Runs funny occasionally

Id say like once every thee times I take my car out it feels like it is not running as smooth as usual. Its not the transmission, but it feels like its running alot smoother and cleaner, and then sometimes it will seem like it is not running at maximum performance. Any ideas what it could be?

What do you mean? Like an idle surge, or chugging, or a misfire? Or just seemingly running slower?

Ive heard some people talk about seafoam. What does it entail, how much is it to have done, and what are the benefits of it? And also, can it hurt the engine if not done right?

Not seemingly running slower, but it seems like when I push the pedal down sometimes the car is struggling more than usual to get up to speed.

Mine does this, too. Add it to pulls left, surges at idle in cold weather, and randomly doesn't accelerate. Maybe I should have bought a Chevy...

And I've taken it to Acura. They had it for 3-4 days and couldn't figure it out. The take away quote: "Wait for something to totally break and the CEL to come on. Then we should be able to fix it."

Believe me, even though our TLs have some issues they will last far longer and hold their value much better
