CAI or SR

what would be the better or the two for a little sound and performance.

I dont have any, but ive heard the CAI is more worth the money, i had a thread similar to this and pretty much everyone said CAI

but what if you live in an area where the weather is never very good for a long time and you had to drive this car all year round? wouldn't the SRI then be the better choice?

i had cai on my civic hatch with spring and lowered. I went through a small puddle and hydrolocked my engine so on this car im really second guessing especially on a more expensive car.

Im calling :BS: There is no way you hydrolocked the motor on a small puddle. You have to damn near submerge the filter to do that. Where you missing the splash shields?

i was missing the splash shield but i was merging on the highway and right on the ramp the was a nice size stream going across it i kept going because I didnt think it was that big and a little splash later that was pretty much it. I love cai...

Its obviously the unshielded cai's fault

yea cant blame cai when you hav no shield....cai ftw no shield ftl


i dont hav one rite now..but i dont drive when it rains..so it balances out
