CAI quickie

ok,
so i got a 99. if i get the CAI kit for 2000-2003, it should fit fine after i do the baby radiator bypass right?

CAI's for 99-03 is all the same unless it's for the type S because the type S's throttle body is bigger.

Yes they do but the intakes are ALL the same UNLESS you have a type-s. They have a shorter intake and a larger dia

how do you guys recommend i do the bypass. i mean like how to connect the two hoses together?

What do you mean bypass? like so your motor won't hydrolock?

if you're talking about the bypass valve, you're gonna have to cut the intake and mount the valve in between the two halves.

i think he is talking about the coolant lines that run through the stock intake box. all that comes out and you splice the two line together. I have an injen cai in my 99 tlp and it is for the 2002-2003 model works fine. search you will find all the answers you need to know

just splice them together with a brass barb connector or follow them to their source and loop one of the hoses to the other end
