CAI quick question

hey guys i have a aem cai . and i think some water got into it cause the filter was kinda wet. but the engine is still going but i cant feel the power of the intake when i floor it, is that temporary until its dry again or is it a pernament thing?

The filter gets wet all the time, it's not a big deal... Worry when the filter is submerged in water! Otherwise, you're fine..

the next day from driving in the rain the ENGINE check light turned on. what should I do, give the filter time to dry out or go scan the code. but the thing is I dont know where is the plug in my car to scan the code.

Your OBDII port is under the "this is not an ashtray" you need to remove a plastic cover.

haha since i got a custom stereo head I cant open the "ashtray" but good news. the light went off! guess gave time to dry the intake or something!
