Those fiberglass kits aren't worth it and I don't believe they come with the proper mounting hardware for the side skirts. You want quality you have to go with an oem polyurethane kit from Acura. That won't be cheap unless you check the black market, or other private sale sites.

OP you want a lip kit not a body kit.

As Rockstar stated, go to the dealer because you will pay the same there as you would if you piece one together.

Hey, if you're on a budget, you can't go wrong with these. True, the OEM lasts longer, but as long as you know how to properly take care of your lip kit, then it's all good.

Only the side skirt and rear lip will fit on the 99-01.

Agreed. I've had OEM, PU, and FRP kits and as long as you know how to drive and take care of it, there's no problems! Obviously OEM and PU can take a bit more of a beating, but you'll be paying the price.

Just keep in mind though if you get a FRP the fitment will most likely suck so you'll end up paying a bit more for added labour.

I was told to get an OEM kit from the dealer it would be around 1 grand, if you buy them separate through that site it would be much cheaper no? How hard are they to install?

There is no such thing as a type-s kit. The OEM body kit was available to all models. That said the 2002-2003 front lip will not fit on the 1999-2001.
