You know MurdaZ it's jackoffs that make me not want to share, especially the likes of you. Poke me here and there thinking its cool. Oh yeah, you're just a young pup, and your memory isn't good is it? You were the one that left a bad taste in my mouth to come out with a DIY for the cluster. Did you think I was kidding that you caused the delay? Of course I was charging a fee when I did installs as I upfronted the costs of the LEDs and parts and my time you dumb shit.
I have already shared many other LED mod DIY's, I wont mention any websites here and have answered many PM's with questions and will continue to do so.

I'm glad you used those plug and pray leds.......they do great in most installs but when they start flickering away and dying when they are only rated for 12v, lets hope your brain is capable of figuring out why.

By the way....I still dont see your own DIY on this topic. Put up or shut up! I'm done with my with this pecker head!

Like I said....done my speech about him. I've wasted enough time about him.

There are pleny of DIY out there for led mods, including my own (its on another site) for climate, clock, and buttons (Thanks to Nate whom had a website that got me started on the led mods, I just improved on his DIY, as many will improve from my own).
There was someone who did a terrific LED mod for the 6 disc changer (wish I could remember the nickname) and I give kudos to TLSfan, Subtledreamer, and CaliChris517 and anyone else I forgot to mention with their contributions to LED mods, just search and you'll find them as well. Need any help I'd be more than happy to help with what I can.

Since my posting of the original DIY for buttons, climate, and clock, I've made some revisions.

I now recommend hard wriring the LED in place instead of using the bulb socket. The reason being is there is a better chance of a cold joint due to the painstaking work with the "smd" resistor. Using a 1/4 regular size resistor is possible with all buttons, but I've learned you need to disassemble some buttons to make the resistor fit properly (not good to have the resistor to stick out when you are trying to resinstall the button). I guess you can call it countersinking the resistor. If you are unsure what to do, I still recommend the old way of using the bulb holder, in case things go bad...you can always go back to the original bulb.

And as for the gauge cluster, I haven't posted a DIY as it's pretty much obsolete. I'm up to revision 3.5 with my project and has come to a point of plug and play (no soldering needed to install). Thats all I'm going to say about this topic as I will eventually apply for vendor here when I'm happy with the final results. When it happens....I'll make sure to let everyone know......

Until then......

Hard wiring is the way I've gone, did it with my climate control that I posted, so much easier and takes less time. And thanks for the props Ontario, appreciate it.
