there no need to do any boring. When using the MDX crank it increases the stroke to make it a 3.5

Is there a post/article that explains more on this? This seems like a very worthy mod with the right bolt ons, and tuning.

How much power can be gained by this 3.5 stroke. I am REALLY interested to give it a shot even if i am the guinne pig. I need to know what exactly needs to be done and i am curious as well why this isnt a bigger discussion.

I think Pace Acura (in FL) offer the 3.5L conversion that with the intake and headers was rated at 315hp - 30more than the 2007 type S with the 3.5L.

we should have one of our vendors put this kit together for us so we could get what we want as a package so we dont have to peice it together. Just a thought to make it easier for the forum members. I will also most likley do this swap.

Its not just something you bolt on. The engine needs to be removed and machine work done to it.

I agree with WTL-S about this. However, since there is a lot of engine work that is required, if the vendors to put together a kit, I'm sure they'd specify that this isn't for anyone with a single motor.

I'd rather do this before slapping on a turbo or S/C, just to get the most out of it.

I've got the CL thread bookmarked. This is definitely something to watch!!

I know I was just saying they should put together a Stroker kit for the TL like mustangs have. I remeber they had a kit put together that would stroke the 4.6 to a 5.1 and everything you needed was included as a kit/package.

you know, if someones does this for TL-P it will benefit lots of users on here if that kit is available. I know I would be interested. Plus it would put TL back on the street with some extra muscle and back in the game with newer cars
