my left blinker on my 2000tl does not turn on with my headlights but it still blinks, and i like the way it looks. now my question is, are they any bulbs for our cars that only have one filament meaning that it wont turn on with my headlights but will just blink?

 

if u want to save some money you dont even need to get new blubs.. if u look at the bulb on the bottom there are 2 "nipples" one powers parking steady light and one powers the blinker.. if you cover 1 nipple (not sure which one) w/ electrical tape it will disable the steady parking light and it will only blink when you turn on the signal

 

thats what i did looks alot better at night. plus i have clear bulbs like for the brakes. looks amber enough not to be hassled but likes nice with cleared head lights
