Best Filter?

HEY GUYS i finally got my CAI and ive heard all types of interesting things about Specific filters making a noticeable difference. what i want to know is... have any of you guys used a filter that made a difference? if so what kind of difference. or do you just think a filter is just a damn filter. so just let me know.

I prefer the washable filters like K&N. Been using them for close to a million (not a joke) miles of driving now.

holy cow, what makes them a value? the fact that they are recyclable?

That you never have to replace them. Simply take them out and wash (i use the ones you have to re-oil) Plus they allow more air to the motor than standard cotton/paper filters.

I like the AEM dryflow just because you only have to clean and not oil it. Other then that the filters that come with most brand name intakes are rewashable/reusuable so should not matter.

x2 on the dryflow, I've heard nothing but good things about it. Its supposed to be better than the K&N.

amsoil makes conical air filters for replacements purposes or upgrade purposes on almost all CAI systems. They're pretty pricey though. I believe about $80.00 for TL CAI filter.
