I am looking for someone to do the 6 speed manual conversion to my TL.

I just don't have the time to do it, but want to convert over because my Auto has over 100K and is starting to slow shift.

If anyone knows of Acura shops that are willing to do this please let me know.
I will of course need references and would need to see some of the previous custom work done by the mechanic.

I have a six kids, and a sick father that I care for (I'm not lazy just strapped for time).

 

Heyitsvu did the 6 speed conversion on his TL.

He is located here in the Bay Area.

You might want to hit him up for some advice.

It's not going to be cheap.

 

Don't take it to an Acura shop unless you want to pay more than needed....

what ever you do don't take it to acura! they will finger fuck you mane....

its alot of work but Im going to be doing that swap too. I got the 6 speed CL motor and everything that i need. I will start the swap soon...i'll take some pictures and let you know how it go's.....

Are you under 109K? I know maybe you just want to get the 6 speed but if money's tight, you might want to take the car to Acura and see if they'll replace it free. You should still be covered unless you have a salvage title. You said you've got 6 kids and a sick father to take care of so you might be better off?

 

talk to jeremy at redzone. google them. theyre in fremont. they do alot of custom work. they did a h22 swap and 5spd conversion in my old accord.

 

Why don't you do the 7-speed conversion, like the one in the M-series?
