Auto to manual swap

Hi I am asking for help on swapping my 2000 acura tl auto transmission to manual transmission. I want to know what parts I will need where can get them if there is videos and other stuff. And be specific if you can I don't have the funds yet but I want to see how to be able to swap it. Thank you

So, you want others to post a ton of information so you don't have to go read other threads???

Youa re asking about a fairly simple thing to search for. Trust me, I know the limitations of seach around here (try looking up 10" subwoofer installations in a 2nd get in the stock location in back, good luck), but manual stuff is fairly limited. I just looked myself... There are a number of posts, you just have to start reading them...

Has anyone done a DBW conversion using 7g Accord pedal & firewall assembly? If so, why haven't they?

Whoa, whoa, whoa... where did all this radical cross generational hybrid DBW talk come from? Some people are still learning about the search function.

What's going on man?
I've thought about you in the back of my mind the last few weeks. I picked up my dad's 2000 Accord (F23, AT) a few weeks ago, and I'm currently driving it while I do a J37A2 swap on my '06 Accord. This 2000 Accord was parked for a few years at the back of my father's property. The moonroof had leaked rain into it and it smelled awful, had mold in it. I've pulled the entire interior out and have been cleaning everything thoroughly. Its got me considering putting a J-series in it. I should have that same J32A2 engine (at my friends shop that is 120 miles away) that I got in 2017, that I referred to in the thread on 6thgenaccord.

Hey Bense,

Nice to hear you might be able to put all those saved parts to work. Honestly, I rarely drive the j35 converted 6th gen anymore.

I had a j37a2 in my 8th gen 6spd for about a month. But, I'm working on a j36 build atm.

There's a bit more about it under 4g tl performance mods.

Better get out of here, before the 2g tl guys flag me for spam in this thread. Can PM if you want.

I hear ozone generators work great for this.

Yep I’ve seen em go for $2500 thought I’d give a good price up to the folks on this site, couldn’t have swapped it without them, I also have the e-brake cables too, are you swapping a TL or do you have a CL

Just the ebrke or the entire center console. For the swap I am planning to do my 2000 acura TL still doing some research
