auto to manual conversion

Exclamation auto to manual conversion

if anyone knows what are the exact parts necessary to do a at to mt swap i have an 03 cl-p and i found just the tranny from a 2001 cl-s. please help looking to do this asap.

The 2001 didn't come in a manual. Only the 2003 model was offered in a manual. For the amount of parts and labor required, it's cheaper to just buy a 2003 with a manual.

I agree, I can only imaging the headaches associated with doing this swap!

Well there is a big difference in having to sell my car n buy a new one. I have done it before with a friend on a mustang the swap but our cars are a little complicated

Mustang swaps are super easy. If you search around the forum there are a number of posts with the stuff you need. You'll need more then just the tranny Wiring harness, computer, etc.

everything u need to knw is in this thread. If you are keeping your CLP motor, you dont need the CLS6 ecu, but will need the harness from Richie to be able to drive the car in normal mode and not in limp mode.

You guys are right too much money the thing is that I'm going turbo and my auto tranny won't hold so it was an idea on doing that swap

its not alot of money...2000 shuld hav u the richie harness & tranny & all the lines & cosmetics. Labor is a whole nother story

I'd say the biggest problem you face is that the 01 CL-S tranny you found is an automatic. If it's not an automatic, it's not an 01 CL-S tranny.

I just about compleated this swap

The avdvange to this swap is to keep the vsa which is a very nice feature and it is possibe ,i will post pics of the swap
