Question APexi WS II cat back

Is it worth paying 550 for the apexi II ws cat back exhaust....It sounds great but for 550.....I've heard it doesn't give that much Hp.....I've been told that it gives 8 Hp to the wheel....and that's not worth it.....So does the apexi Ws II cat back gives the acura TL-S a good difference in performance......If not then....I wanna know is there another exhaust that give more Hp....but give a nice sound....thats not to loud...

If you want power, then it's not worth to buy any aftermarket exhaust. If you want nice sound, then YES!

No, Apexi WSII does not give 8whp...maybe about 3whp...and no other brand of exhaust gives more HP...they are all the same. Comptech is more quiet...but gains are the same and it costs twice as much. The TL-S has 2.25in catback piping, thus the Type S has that much less to gain from exhuast(the TL-P has 2in piping and would benefit more).

No matter what brand...exhuast for both TLs...especially the Type S...is for sound/aesthetics.

headers for real whp gain 20-25whp from headers, next underdrive crank pulley(Unorthodox Racing) for 10whp, then CAI maybe 8whp.

i have a TL-P so the gain is significant, and with a Type-S cat too

the type-s has bigger piping because it puts out more exhaust. bigger valves, more air flow. .25" isnt alot. the tl-s would get alot more out of a 2.5" exhaust than a tlp..

Wow.. thats about 40 hp.....

Not bad at all...but the price for the headers is kinda pricy. The CAI, and Pulley is of course more affordable for lighter mods.

Ice Box is an intake which basically combines C.A.I technology with short Ram performance.... Plus the IceBox is quiet like stock and even looks like the stock airbox,Dealerships will even install comptech parts. Plus i think the Ice Box has been shown to give the most HP performance gain...although this subject has been highly debated DO A SEARCH

u don't add them up, but all together might get 30whp in total

The ICe Box is designed to be a OEM replacement, Its practically as quiet as the stock AirBox.... Also make sure and get the Kand N filter, I want to say that makes more noise but i might be crazy or wrong
