Ok...

I love the light that comes out of our D2R bulbs, HOWEVER, I hate the fact that the ballast, pig tail, and bulbs are SO DAMN EXPENSIVE. I have a completely blown ballast. ,I took it apart to see what the issue was and it was all black from a short somewhere! *uck it, Im taking out the stock expensive stuff and replacing it with regular halogen bulbs. I have it all figured it out, so for you scheptics, there will be NO LEAKS!!
I will be taking photos and posting them up here for you all within a week or so!

Nope not annoyed at all. I way prefer te light of HID over the crappy look of halogens. Plus mine have made it 200k miles so far with out a problem!

Man this engine wastes so much gas! I figured out how to rip out the v6 and replace it with a vespa engine. By my calculations I should be able to get around 80 miles to the gallon, on get this: REGULAR UNLEADED. No more outrage at the pump!

don't be a dick about it. why don't you replace your HID's with some oil lamps. If you want to be a cheap ass you may as well go all out.

 

plus u can trade ur cd/tape player for an 8 track/record player

 

you guys are being so mean, although some of those insults were rather funny. I could understand why he wouldn't want to pay for the entire assembly though.

 

What he could do is try a junk yard to see if he could get it cheaper, or he could purchase a aftermarket HID kit, they are pretty cheap now, like $200 for the whole kit, rather than going back to the dealer.

 

i got warped rotors and they fucking expensive so guess what im replacing them with fucking drums from a honda civic!
