Angel eyes (not a repost)
I want to put angel eyes on my tl when ever i get it back from the dealer. Here's the problem, I have 8000k bulbs and if anyone has them you know how bright and blue they are, anyways if i put angel eyes on my car do you think they will even be noticable over my 8000k's. If not I was thinking about putting around my high beams. Does anyone have this setup, if so can you post pics? Thank you.

no seriously though, the higher the kelvin temp of the hid bulbs, the less output it has.
and OP, how are you going to put round angel eyes on the low beams if u don't even have projectors. it'll look retarded as hell.
and if u put it over the high beams it'll look crappy too. just my but if u like it do it.

You need projectors added to put in angel eyes...Kind of confused as to where this is going haha I thought this wasnt a repost but it seems as though it is in terms of info about adding angel eyes. Volly's set-up IMO is one of the nicest. I think he had highbeams done too before but think only lows have it now.

projectors can be as low as $60 depending which u get, plus labor if u don't DIY. but i got my set up to be $75 for rx330 projectors, e30 lens, and custom shield. it produces a great output with the "mods" and it will perform just as good (if not better) than the popular s2k projectors which are triple the price of my set up.
IMO, at night when u can only see the lights of a car, it looks much more aggressive when the lights are more far apart, same with the angel eyes. but the tl does have a round highbeam which will look decent. good luck

Yeah...you need projectors if you would get angel eyes...that wouldn't look right and just be
Yeah...there are places to get reasonably priced projectors if you want to try to DIY.
I've been scouting them out for some time now.
THIS SITE has been helpful with some information and they did do a retrofit on a 2nd Gen CL which has helped me get an idea of what I would and would not do.
